I've noticed that friendly/farm mobs have a limitation on how many can exist in an enclosed space such as a fenced in farm land. This number appears to be VERY low. I've been trying to start a decent sized chicken farm and at first my chicken farm was a total of 23 blocks and had around 15 chickens. any more than that and the adult chickens would start to despawn. So I expanded my farm to 62 blocks total only to find I still could not have more than 15 chickens. I doubled the farm and still...
