Communication and Closing Threads

For those of you who don't know recently Cosmos has been demoted from Moderator. I would like to express my feelings about something very specific that I saw happen twice throughout this situation and relate it to something general. I am saying this in this specific forum post because I want to know what you all think. Everyone's opinion/suggestion/input about what I am talking about is important because what you think matters.
