Trading Elite?

Hey Guys, is it possible for a current elite, to trade his elite status to another player if he or she gets another rank?
Example
Player 1 has elite and is going for Trial Moderator. He gets it and wants to give it to Player 2.
Can Player 1 Give Player 2 elite ?
